GHALE will take part in the 1st AIMES pilot
24 juin 2021| 9 h 00 min - 12 h 30 min
GHALE will testify about its experience and the role of our platform to improve communication in the emergencies ecosystem. GHALE will focuson the role of 112 apps, PSAPs & PEMEA framework.
The AIMES partners are pleased to invite you to join our first AIMES Pilot Workshop to be held virtually on June 24 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm CEST.
Developed by Deveryware, EDGNEERING and Omnitor, the AIMES System aims to establish a new paradigm of universal access to emergency services, benefitting from advanced Internet-enabled technologies and multimedia and interoperability capabilities to promote a more efficient and effective emergency response.
The first AIMES Pilot Workshop will demonstrate, in a scenario of a large forest fire, how emergency services and citizens benefit from next generation multimedia and interoperability capabilities to improve emergency response efficiency and outcomes.
The Workshop participants will see live how the AIMES System enables a hard of hearing Swedish citizen to make a multimedia emergency call, using voice, chat and video capabilities, to report the forest fire and send relevant incident photos of the emergency to the local Spanish PSAP. The demonstration will also highlight the AIMES System’s roaming, automatic text translation and interoperability capabilities, as it empowers a true pan-European next generation emergency service.
We would like to thank the 112 Service of the Basque Country for all their support to the AIMES Project, particularly their assistance in making the Pilot demonstration a reality.
We trust the AIMES Pilot Workshop proposes a valuable and interesting initiative and that we may count on your participation to help us build innovative knowledge and empower emergency service stakeholders for the new challenges of emergency response and public safety.
Considering the existing pandemic context, the full event will be hosted online. Before the event, details on how you may access the Workshop sessions will be provided to you.
